HL2SP: Get A Life

Get a Life offers: about 11 hours of playing time, 25 different maps, 61 characters, 13 weapons, 24 music tracks, 76 dialogs, around ten documents to endorse the storyline, a new gameplay (advanced damage system, bullet time...) new AI, HUD, effects and enemies.

All this with English and French voice acting, provided with English, French, German, Czech, Spanish, Finnish and Swedish subtitles!

http://www.getalife-mod.com

This seems to be great. Just played the beginning. A lot of effort has been put into it obviously. Not entirely bug-free yet (or free of possible dead ends for that matter), at least I got stuck in one or two situations, so keep your autosaves. Zombies, government agents, Max Payne-like dream sequences, music that's too loud, etc.

New Sauerbraten SP Map Pack

Hello to the mapping community!

I have a new single player SAUERBRATEN map pack called "Private Stan Sauer: Run n'Gun". If you've played any early mpsp series maps, you'll know what to expect!

Get it here:

http://chronicfatiguemusic.com/mpsp9_final.zip

Or visit the website here and look around. The 1st page of screens were wips, the 2nd page are completed maps:

http://chronicfatiguemusic.com

This is a rather large download, approximately 25mb. The map pack contains the following:

1. (3) single player maps (mpsp9a, mpsp9b, mpsp9c)

2. 200+ new MitaMAN textures (including normal and spec maps) along with a few new and reworked textures from the loopix, noctua, and g-pack texture collections.

3. Mask textures for several of the mitaman models included from the original "Army of One" (mpsp6) map pack.

4. New doors, fence, elevator and floor board mitaman models.

5. Several DCP models (light, grates, switch, etc...) that were not part of any CUBE or Sauerbraten release.

6. A texture/model config template (mpsp9_template.cfg) to make it easy to use the new textures / models in your own map.

This map will push your system hard in some areas. There are many explosions, items that move, outdoor water areas, and elevators. I used most of what the engine has to offer map builders.

I know that Sauerbraten is not that popular among "real" games, but I think you'll be surprised by this map pack.

Enjoy!

MitaMAN

Q1SP (Quoth2) - Slave To A Machine

OK, here is my new map! There have been a l00t of high quality maps/mods to have come out in the past month or so, here's my contribution. This one is for Quoth2 so make sure you have the second part of Quoth installed.

Also note that this level is meant for GlQuake engines, preferably ones with .lit file support for coloured lighting. I would recommend FitzQuake or JoeQuake, both engines have been tested with this map, and work properly. (NOTE: JoeQuake users type "loadsky dragonheart" to view the skybox) Darkplaces has a bug which causes it to remove all of the doors from the map!!

This is a medium/large base map using Daikatana, Doom3 and Half-Life textures to give a tech/industrial feel. Almost 180 monsters on hard. Expect to see random telefraggings and in-fighting!

Here are some screenshots:
http://shub-hub.com/files/images/slave1.jpg
http://shub-hub.com/files/images/slave2.jpg
http://shub-hub.com/files/images/slave3.jpg

And heres a download or two:
http://www.mediafire.com/?nzxcbzl2irx
http://shub-hub.com/files/maps_singleplayer/slave.zip

And heres the mapsource:
http://www.mediafire.com/?elh9vw913wt

Enjoy! :-)
