just wanted to say good to see Retroquake resurrected and good to see another quake 1 map review site.

Thanks
Thanks underworldfan, it's good to be back. Wish I wasn't gone as long as I was.

I need some help from the community though. While re-doing my site I found some files missing, can anyone help me with these:

balance.zip -balance of power
darkness.zip -The Darkness within
element.zip -The Underworld Element
mrc-ef.zip - En force

I can't seem to find them.
Thanks

Uh???
Not sure why that posted twice.

Avoid double-click when posting...

I should be able to help you with those. Let me know, and we can arrange something
Hey
Nice to see the site back, and thanks for the reviews (presumably; I haven't read them yet :)
I just may have some further Q1SP releases this summer, if I can ever get off my ass.
Working full time puts a real dent in... uhh... basically everything.
Cheers.
For Old-ish Maps...
It's worth checking

http://speeddemosarchive.com/quake/maps/

though of those, we only seem to have darkness (unless the zip files are named something stupid).

Thank You
I appreciate you finding those for me. I'll have to fix my links once I get some sleep. Now all I need is the underworld element. If you should happen to see the mod called catch the shrimp (shrimp.zip) I need that as well.

Vorelord if you have either of these files you can probably just email them to me.

Thanks everybody.
Tronyn Get Off Your Ass
haha, nuff said.

Maybe I have Underworld element at home, I will check it this evening... I will let you know if I have this map or not...
Found Catch The Shrimp
Once Again
Dang Marius, you go.

I'd appreciate that JP. You can email if you like at DorKwolf@planetquake.com
Jawbreaker
now that's retro! I remember playing that for the first time when sefton released it and absolutely loving it. Havent played it recently, going to do that now. Hopefully, wont be too disappointed.
Element
Done, should be in your mail box
Retroquake
is not just another Quake page! is like a church to Quaker´┐Żs good to have it back! many thks to the team!
Thanks Again
I can't say thanks enough for all of the help and kind words you all have gave.

We don't forsee us going anywhere anytime soon but I don't expect us to do 11 reviews a week either. It is our goal to provide an up to date archive for these wonderful games and not let them fade into the void.
A Tronyn Map Pack
This summer would be swell. To quote Goodfellas, "It's gonna be a good summer!"

BTW, if you do intend to use the IkBlue map I sent and need me to flesh it out, give me a shout out.
" Working Full Time Puts A Real Dent In... Basically Everything"
I agree with this post.
The Site Is Cool, But All Html?
Wow, the site is very cool, but its all in HTML. That must be a pain to update! You really need to look into ASP / PHP and some kind of SQL server (M$ SQL or mysql). I'm pretty sure someone will be able to give you a hand.
DorKwolf
I checked my map directory, and I didn't found Underwater element map. I was pretty sure to have it. Sorry...
JPL
lol, Underwater element

The Underworld Element

;)
Trigger-oN
I agree. When I first started the site 3 years ago I was just really learning html and had plans to learn one of the new languages but things changed for me (divorce, losing my computer, ect..) so now I'm back at square one.

I have it set up so it's not to hard to update but it would be nice to have asp or php.Hopefully in the near future I can start learning one of them.
VoreLord
Yes, nice misspelling ;)
