New Sauerbraten Release: Collect Edition
Cube 2: Sauerbraten is a free multiplayer/singleplayer first person shooter, the successor of the Cube FPS.

Much like the original Cube, the aim of this game is fun, old school deathmatch gameplay and also to allow map/geometry editing to be done cooperatively in-game.

The engine supporting the game is entirely original in code & design, and its code is Open Source (ZLIB license, read the docs for more on how you can use the engine).

Is This Workable On Laptops Yet?
Or this just a desktop-only computer game still?
??
Why wouldn't it work on a laptop?
...
You're super-talented ... try it and tell me why not ...

[And if you don't have the time or interest, I get that ... but I'll say it gets obvious real quick ... but I refuse to post spoilers ]
Necros ...
Look, if Func_Msgboard has a contribution it is to critical thought ... I'm going to leave this as open-ended. Intentionally. What I am referring to something that would send a common-sense uber-conservative like Fribbles into a tirade.

But I'm tired of getting the "bad guy" sticker for these kinds of things ... bored people with too much time on their hands but easy access to keyboard always end up labeling me a jerk over these things.

So I leave this a mystery. But even "Scrappy-Doo and Friends" could solve this "caper" ...
I Also Don't Get It
Renderer: Mesa DRI Intel(R) IGD x86/MMX/SSE2 (Intel Open Source Technology Center)
Driver: 1.4 Mesa 9.0.1

~30fps with a Atom cpu/gpu. That is a netbook.
I Hate Scrappy Doo

Scrappy Doo Was A Pretty Good C64 Game

I Don't Usually Post

Baker, you are back on top form. Whilst I understand the individual words in that, I don't have the faintest idea what any of it means, nor how it relates to Cube working on a laptop. Well done!

no one should play on a laptop
now a lapdance now...
Well, Quite Hard To Understand
Baker's words. Anyway, I think his laptop just isn't running it very well.

to Baker:
I think you can simply submit a bug report to the developer. By the way, thanks for www.quakeone.com, an amazing netquake site for sure!
What Baker Means...
I think what baker mean is that the game is pretty cumbersome using a trackpad?
You Mean Like Any Other FPS?

Fribbles:
if you're reading this could you kindly please launch into a tirade so i can get some idea of what baker is referring to?

thanks!
