Wintery Map Pack
OK! Here's the guidelines for the Wintery Map Pack (or Summery Map Pack if you're below the Equator.)

- Theme: Scrapped Maps - Find a scrapped map or maps and finish it/them. Anyone's scrapped maps will do as long as you have permission (even your own will do!)

- You can do anything you want to the map - change the layout, textures, anything you want, as long as you finish a scrapped map. Glue as many scrapped maps together as you want! Since you need at least one Quothian enemy, it's Single Player only.

- There are only a few condition that must be met:

1.) You must use at least ONE Quothian monster (and thus must use the Quoth entity set.)

2.) You MUST include a .txt with your submission with the name of the scrapped map's original author (even if it's yourself) and the name of the scrapped piece if applicable.

3.) Again, Single Player only.

- All maps and .txts must be submitted to ZwiffleOwnsU@gmail.com no later than Saturday, January 21st, 2006 at 11:59 PM Central Time. All maps that meet the requirements will be posted in one big .zip/.pak/.rar/.dz/.trojan for consumer pleasure.

- Big props go to Big Man Rob Pee Gee (BMRPG) for the theme suggestion, rule suggestion, and general imposing His holy will unto His loyal serfs.

Given it's 38C outside I'm not inclined towards a Winter map but I do have an unfinished knave themed map lying around...

BTW, just for info, CZG's "Soulworks" scrap has been successfully incorporated into Travail e2m2. We are getting close...

Bal: Yes lighting is rather dull atm. Allthough it looks better in game than on the shots! That's one of the reasons I don't have a beta yet, I still have to work on it. The other reason is that there isn't any easy and normal skill only hard, and that has to be worked on as well. (Btw. hard has 238 monsters! May be more and may be less 8-))

Necros: Yes it is nice isn't it? It's a Drew original, I just changed it a little to make it fit and span two storeys.

I just think everybody should know that Hrim has made this map look amazing, which is saying something considering the source material was bland at best. Congradulations! Can't wait to play it, one day in the distant future.

OK, my map won't be ready at all by Saturday (damn you addictiveness of AoE3 and WoW!!!) and since school starts next week... I'm gonna have to push back the deadline about a week or two. Also, I haven't got any maps yet, so I assume only me and Hrimfaxi are participating... which means only me and Hrimfaxi get to play the maps :D But anyway, if you ARE making a map, then the deadline is pushed back two Saturdays. If you don't care, then burn in Hell. >_<

(damn fingers, way tooo big for this keyboard).... This is a big downer!!! Anyway, if even only you and Hrim are in, we're ensured to have top quality stuff, at least.... Looks like I'll have to learn mapping, at last, if I did it earlier, you would have had one more map for your pack... altough of the drunk quality....

Here I have been working my ass of for the last week in order to finish my map!

Oh well then there are more time for playtesting.

Surly there must be some mappers out there that can make a small map before the new deadline? Remember you start with a scrap so just choose a big one!

Maybe I should make another one now that the first is done?
