Solution in a few easy steps:

1. Cook some food at home prior to your day at work.

2. Bring said food to your workplace in a handy plastic container, or anything that gets the job done.

3. Warm food up, eat.

There you go, three steps. You'll get better food, and you'll save tons of money.

I'm also baffled by the fact that in Finnish McDonald's a miniscule carton of milk costs more than a slightly larger coke.

Can't you pull the dates from e.g. the txt files inside the zip? You can extract the txt files, rename them to zip and then copy only the attributes back to the real zip. That should be fairly quick.
MILK > COKE
that's why. Wake up your taste buds, man. Coke is vile. It's also incredibly cheap to produce (esp. the watered down variety McDonalds peddle) so there is a lot more profit. Even though Maccy D's want you to think they are trying to make an effort with healthy food, they want you to buy the junk because that's where most of their profit comes from. Even if they sold 50% pseudo-health food and 50% junk, there would be more profit on the junk.

Also, WTF is wrong with UK McDonald's? The menu is horrendous. McDonald's is still shit in Japan, but at least there is a bit more choice, and the prices are marginally lower. I guess it's the cheap American beef they use over here. I suspect the UK McDonald's must use only the finest Angus steak or something :/

Hey
I think I make one of these threads like once a month, but who cares.

Thanks metlslime for taking the time and effort to maintain such an excellent site for us all to use and skulk about on. It doesn't get said enough, and I know you're not wealthy or that you have tons of free time, so thanks that much more for keeping the site afloat.
Indeed
This place has already outlasted all of the old haunts if my memory serves me correctly, and still no sight of random thread disapearances. :)

I still cry over the slow bizarre vanishing death of qmap. :(
So Wrong, Than,
Wake up your taste buds, man. Coke is vile.

The taste of coke still comes from its original source, that is the cocoa leaf; though the leaf is denatured of its life affirming essense and what we have in its place is a tepid, minor stimulant, it is still better than milk.

Bring back the Real Thing!

CZG I AM STILL YOUR FRIEND AND I LOVE YOU FOR EVER HUGGIESSSSSS
Improvement To Vigil's Step 1
1. Find someone who cooks really, really well and somehow trick them into marrying your lazy ass. Have them cook meals for you prior to your time at work.
I'm Sorry But I'm Not Going To Marry ANY Of You

I plead the fifth.
RPG
plead insanity, it'll be much more convincing under the circumstances.
Plead The Fifth?
but you already drank it!

Oh, and thanks for the appreciation, guys.

Tron: If you haven't seen it, I've the entire old QMap "Mapping Help" thread saved at my site: http://user.tninet.se/~xir870k . I only wished there were more saved threads.
I Hate You Telstra
Hurry up and upgrade the exchange which services my new place you fucking slack telephony wholesaling bastards
Yeah
this board rocks, no extra shit avatars, sigs or whatnot, just a comfortable layout and mostly good-natured talk. :)

Maybe a post icon with a thumb up would be useful.
...
but old qmap had site/map tracker
and icon abuse too
When This Icon Is So Much
more meaningful. I wouldd raise a mug for Metl any day or time of the week.
I Feel Your Pain BlackDog
Here at our house when Telstra put the line in they apparently set it up on a pairgain or something like that, which means no broadband to this residence.

Apparently it was being fixed soon/has been fixed recently though so a decent connection soon. Huzzah!

One person who is trying to play my Apinaraivo / Monkey Rage (download at http://www.quaddicted.com/component/option,com_docman/task,doc_download/gid,49/) has a problem. He has extracted the archive file into the Quake dir, loads quake with the correct -game settings, but upon typing "map araivo" he receives an error that looks like:

ifNOT 5650[?]
spawnpointerror

He has tried both GLQuake and FitzQuake and the error happens with both. I cannot reproduce this problem and I can't recall of anyone having any similar problems with my map. What could be the reason for this?
It Looks Like
he's using the -listen option, i.e. he's trying to run in DM mode instead of SP. Since you don't have any DM spawn points on this map, the engine will via QC get stuck in a loop looking for a spawn point until a counter is exceeded.

This behaviour is a bit weird in the standard QC.

So I at least got in the top 10 for Planetquake's wallpaper contest. I wasn't expect to be in the top 3 anyway, and even if I got 2nd or 3rd - I really have no interest in a Quake 4 t-shirt or 3 free months of GameSpy Clubbadubdub
Phait
I hope your virtual masturbation does not gum up the works and make func slower than it already is.
Func_ owns, its just slow at 3am EST :)
