Great map, loved the unique (i.e. not another Fodrian library) take on Knave. I wish there was a way to revisit the tiny courtyard (was this the original plan, judging by the exit placement?) Hope to see more soon.

Some questions so I post my video of this :
1) The tool you made to export a mesh -> brushes (iirc). Is it available to the public?
2) Is there an update to the map to fix the final Shambler not aggroing? I seem to remember a fix being issued but can't find a link anywhere.

2. No. It's something to do with my mod. I never got around to fixing. He'll aggro if you get closer to him. I think. :P

Good video and I agree with everything you said. :)
The zombies ARE z-aware but they don't get the chance to really show that off in this map.
The idea at the end was sort of a cathartic release for the player... "Here, blow up some zombies!" ... but it didn't play as well as I'd hoped.
Oh well!

god damn, i understand why i hate z-aware ogres now! it's because they don't preserve the usual arch and make the flight time shorter.
it's not that they are z-aware that makes them difficult, it's that the time before you get hit in the face is much shorter because the trajectory is flatter which throws off your timing. that's why it feels unfair and annoying. if the flight time was preserved, I think no one would care if they were z-aware.
at least, that's my delirious epiphany for the day, anyway.
It's the implementation, but being z-aware should have been in the game from the beginning, same with zombie gibs. Having them unable to shoot up stairs is ridiculous.
