Quake 5 = Quake Champions
Credit to the people who posted about this, it definitely deserves it's own thread......

Quake Champions trailer: https://youtu.be/sa-6fQyNkZo

The game will feature a "diverse character of warriors" with unique attributes and skills.

Well, fuck. We Overwatch now, boys.
Also will be outsourced to Saber Interactive.

I know, it's impossible appeal at same time for Q1 fans, strogg fans (Q2/Q4) and mp players (Q3/QLive) but this is just something completely out of this world.

Can you show us some pictures?

Scrags Moving Around In A Map?
I just saw a YouTube video of Quake Champions which shows some scrags moving around, in some level. Can they be shooted? Can they interact in some way or are they just a "joke" about Quake1?

Someone should post a picture of these scrags, seen from a close point... it could be interesting.

Blood Covenant (Quake Champions' version of Campgrounds/Q3DM6) does have scrags flying around. You can get closer to them in the Clan Arena version of the map. They can't be shot or otherwise interacted with, but I wouldn't call them a joke.

Here's a video and some images

Well, ... these non-interacting scrags feel so dumb!

It's a multiplayer deathmatch game. There's no reason for the scrags to be anything more than background details.
The Whole Shitting Game Is A Joke
And the scrags existence is a snide punchline.
Ok
