Inspiration & Reference
I just wanted to know if people had any links to good websites for either level design inspiration (photos, paintings, concept art, etc.) or just for architectural reference. We had a thread like this on the old qmap, but we know how much good that does us.

Drawings From Someone Suffering From Psychosis

Those "drawings from someone suffering from psychosis" look like the sketchbook of that one angry kid in everyone's art classes who's just trying to shock his teachers by throwing the imagery from all his favorite doom metal albums back at them.

They're cool, they're just probably not by a psychotic. They'd make fucking great centerpiece textures in a Quake wad ...
Quake Wad Jam GO!
Seriously a new set of textures would be great ;)

Unused Elder Textures
I was making a blue map a long time ago that used those textures. I lost it though but it was shaping up to be quite nice. I will have to revisit the theme at some point :)

Professor Indellkoffer, speaking at a dinner of the California Astronomical Society, expressed the opinion that the explosions on Mars are undoubtedly nothing more than severe volcanic disturbances on the surface of the planet.
From The Image
It looks more like a nipple.
"Nothing More Than Severe Volcanic Disturbances"
Severe volcanism on tectonically inactive Mars of a strength that could send plumes of smoke into space, is hardly worthy of a 'nothing more than.'

At twenty minutes before eight, central time, Professor Farrell of the Mount Jennings Observatory, Chicago, Illinois, reports observing several explosions of incandescent gas, occurring at regular intervals on the planet Mars. The spectroscope indicates the gas to be hydrogen and moving towards the earth with enormous velocity. Professor Pierson of the Observatory at Princeton confirms Farrell's observation, and describes the phenomenon as (quote) like a jet of blue flame shot from a gun (unquote).
