Inspiration & Reference
I just wanted to know if people had any links to good websites for either level design inspiration (photos, paintings, concept art, etc.) or just for architectural reference. We had a thread like this on the old qmap, but we know how much good that does us.

I got a nice edition of Paolo Soleri's _Arcology_ as a birthday present, and I've been posting sample pics on twitter. Arranged in proper chronology here:

https://storify.com/joel_k_baxter/snippets-from-paolo-soleri-s-arcology

One problem with Storify is that it crops images, and also doesn't show all the images from a multi-image post. So you'll need to click on each pic.twitter.com link to see the full things.

(Unless there's a way to make Storify behave better w.r.t. that? I dunno, first time I've tried it.)

Twitter compresses the heck out of the images, so if you'd like to see the full-sized originals, they'll be available for a while at https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11690738/temp/arcology.zip

Just some quick photos from a handheld camera though, so don't expect too much in the way of framing, lighting, focus, etc. :-) (Also please don't share that link outside of this forum.)

Clearly these are blueprints from a Tronyn map.

Yes we've finally found the source he's been cribbing from all these years.

been trying to purchase this one, had no luck.

The trick with Twitter is manual URL editing:

->
click image
->
copy image URL
->
change large to orig
->
