Bit Too Long
Would prefer to keep it short. I mean:

h t t p ://member.quakeisnotdead.com ?
Phait
yeah those were kinda long, i meant a domain more like this:

quakereallyisnotandwearenotfuckingkidding.com
Harrr
I'm thinking 2000 MB, 125 GB bandwidth ($100/year) or 3000 MB, 250 GB bandwidth ($200/year) should do well enough for hosting. I am really enjoying the idea - NO FILEPLANET!
I Like Quaked.com

Phait
quaddicted.com will be open for file uploads as soon as i stop my lazyness ;)

for when I begin hosting Quake 1/2/3 mappers.

oops, didn't read that... however, i'll let people upload singleplayer maps for Quake1.

Your download layout needs some help, it's quite uncategorized - just filenames :|
And Wtf
Since when/how/why did my static IP change from 68.x to 70.x
Check Out Tei's Booth
at the QExpo, he has a height field renderer added into a Quake engine. There is even a little FitzQuake in the code:

//if (trace.ent->v.solid == SOLID_BSP) //johnfitz -- no sliding on entity bboxes
Good
quaked.com is good!
Quakese.cx
http://qexpo.quakedev.com/booths.php?tag=asaki
this would sum it up pretty well... hooray to asaki!
Phait
I know, it's just temporary. I'm working on some other download system at the moment. It is much better!
Neg!ke
Oh dear god. :(
Socket A Cooling
So I figured out I am in need of a new heatsink/cooler for my old computer. The CPU is an AMD TBird 1400 and the motherboard is Gigabyte GA-7DXR. It was running way too hot before (65c idle, 70c+ under load) and was constantly crashing so I had to underclock it to 1050 Mhz (idle temps dropped to 57c, load temps are around 60 now) to make it stable. However this is just a workaround and I need a proper solution for the overheating. So what would be the recommended heatsink/cooler for my setup?

Put the computer in a sack, throw the sack in a river, and HURL the river into space!

LOL!!
That Was Funny
Getting tech support from you is kind of like getting auto repair tips from this guy:

be sure to read the author's other work 'Music to Eat Pussy and Drink Zombies By' on the same site.
Nitin
If you see an unknown post on the PQ forums that has your nick, it's me. I'm not sure how that happened but I seem to use a login that somehow originates from you, possibly from a GameSpy id. Sorry.
Phait:
spawnpoint has 125gb of bandwidth a month and a HD space of about 2.5gb. I find that ample for my current hosted sites, but have found myself go over the bandwidth limit once and awhile due to some jackasses downloading a huge file multiple times in 1 day.

Just thought the info would let you make a better choice. Be sure to check their policy/cost of bandwidth per GB over.

http://www.hostned.com/purchase_sdl-pro_hosting.htm

i dont know if they're any good but their prices look awesome

also, globat (which func is hosted on) is really super slow it seems, so even with their good prices, i would suggest not buying their services :/
Thanks

Helio Display
Have any of you seen this? It project images onto a gas apparently, so that it is essentially in midair. You can wave your hand through it:

Bitchin' New Bong Accessory
It project images onto a gas apparently

Alright!
Quaked.com
That is the best suggestion. Short and obvious what game it is about and where people are focused, but at the same time the "ed" at the end goes along with the quake editing it would feature.
Aye
I'm torn between quaked.com and omgquake.com
