Seven At ..::LvL
It's ..::LvL update time again! Todays update is jam-packed with goodness. A map that should be on everyone's hard-drive is The Hubsters' version of the Quake classic, Aerowalk. If you only download one level, make sure its this one!

* Aerowalk [Hubster's Remix II] by The Preacher (conversion by the Hubster) (CPM/DM/Tourney 2-4 player)
* Onlsaught by on-X (CTF/DM 8-16 player)
* Lust Spite & Malice by Richard Tompkins (DM/Tourney 2-4 player)
* Brains War by TymoN (DM/Tourney 2-6 player)
* Myxomatosis by mIKE (DM/TeamDM/Tourney 2-6 player)
* Oingo Boingo by heXum (DM/Tourney 2-6 player)
* PhobosBase1 - Prohecy Of Doom by Shub-Niggurath (DM/Tourney 2-4 player)

Enjoy the update!

I'm confused- is that a new aerowalk conversion by a guy named The Preacher and Hubster? Is 'the preacher' the same 'preacher' that created the original q1 version? Was a new version really necessary? Who's buried in grant's tomb?
THanks for the lvlworld download alternative. It is deeply appreciated.
Q1, Yes.
but those 'hi-res' textures look like ass. hud/items too.
thats becouse they are in jpg in tga or png the look is completely diferent!
ass is ass, whatever the format.

that sounds like something rpg would say.
trinca: He means, they're poorly designed, making Quake look like it's art was made by an 8 year old using Adobe Photoshop for the first time. There's also the hideous and completely out of place colored lighting. Just becuase the technology is more 'advanced' doesn't make it 'better'.
Finally Got Around To Looking
This level has a number of problems, the most obvious one is the scale of the map. The computer monitors for example are much bigger than the player model. Also note that there are a few naked female 'posters' used as feature textures. If you are offended by this, skip it.

I don't know which he was referring to as offensive: the posters, the scale, or the glowing review.
Re: Finally Got Around To Looking
pushplay: All of them, but take your pick.
