Which Topic Supports General Mapping Questions??
Which source port supports brightmaps guys? I wanna make neon signs in game but have no idea if Q2 can do it. anyhelp is appreciated. might be able to assist you better in your quake 2 endeavours. 
You can do this in KMQuake 2 by placing yourtexturename_glow.wal (or .tga, or .jpg) alongside yourtexturename.tga (or .wal, or .jpg).
