Textures Not Loading Quake1 Map
I get the following error when i compile "WARNING 01: No valid WAD filenames in worldmodel".

I have verified in trenchbroom that the wad is there and is valid after some research i found an invalid brush can break textures but its just a really simple map, i have no clue how to fix this issue.

(solved this) had to reimport wad into trenchbroom

Set your wad path to absolute in TB. 
Easy Fix 
Use "Absolute" when selecting how to point to a wad file. This pops up when you load a new wad file in the worldspawn entity. And make sure there are no spaces in your filenames. That can cause issues.
