quite a few of the old MH tutorials from insideqc are resulting in blank pages:

Guess they are gone forever. :( It's odd because it seems like a bug fetching the content of the first post. Some threads have the white blank page, but second page works.
I wonder if it is some encoding issue that causes PHP to fart and not parse the contents of the first post, leading to the fatal error (and thus the blank screen). Does anyone know if a forum database dump was made by anyone? Or who's hosting insideqc today? Would love to help fix this. https://forums.insideqc.com/viewtopic.php?t=4257
I just checked this link, but in mobile view, which is all I have at the moment, and everything is still there. I have seen this problem before and was able to work around it, I think, by going into a Select or Copy mode on the site, otherwise just try mobile view. Happy new year, everyone. Hope next year is full of interesting projects, maps and keeping Quake alive.

Anyways You are passionate about Quake. You know something is very wrong with Quake. There was an opportunity there, and now somehow there is not. What happened? How did things go so wrong? You get the world you deserve. If you feel the present does not reflect the awesome future you felt Quake deserved -- do nothing. Only Baker and SleepWalker ever had a chance to save the future anyway Why? Only unreasonably passionate hardasses make a difference in this world. I hope Sleepwalker obtains everything desired. |
