Well, for "uneducated" people like me (at least concerning photoshop use), I think it's rather precise... but maybe photoshop pro users would shout stating it was too vague... In anyway it's well done ;)

those guides by Greg Martin are amazing though. I used one of his wallpapers for a while, but I never knew he wrote any walkthroughs. That Planet one in particular is stunning, I'll have to use that sometime.

is it purely multiplayer? It might not be so bad __ A Team Fortress with Deus Ex like personel enhancements

Though I would prefer a Deus Ex single player clone mod.

These are the "And also:" maps, I guess I got them from aguire or Vorelord. I don't have the original
.zip files so I just put the bsps in one archive. Please tell me when you got the file so I can delete it. (Argh, I have to work on Quaddicted.com's up- and downloadsystem!!!)

Well - "it might not be so bad" isn't any concern, most of it looks well done. I just think it was a dumb call on giving it an originality award. Although as it's hard to innovate without calling upon elements of been-there-done-that, your 'execution is everything' point is a good one.

it does at least seem more "original" than most major commercial FPS (doesn't require much to do that though).

Maybe Originality Award

is just poor naming for the award. Something more like, the What Trips Our Trigger Award would
be more truthful.

I want you guys to know that I got a headache at dinner today, came home and took a nap, woke up at 2 in the morning and had a fucking awesome idea for an easy way to produce shirts with pixellated classic game sprites and/or internet smileys on them, that won't wash out or suck.
I'm going to experiment with it this week. Looks like I've already found a good way to blow disposable income!
More info to follow in the coming days.
