Polish Duel Mappack For CPMA
Polish Duel Mappack is a set of five high-quality levels designed for 1on1 matches in CPMA.
The first public beta of the pack comes out today.

The maps were created by four experienced level-designers from Poland: Lukin, Nemix, dAde and NecrosiS. Each level has unique look and specific mood.

Althought the maps are ready to use they still have some nitpicks, specially in terms of balance and playability. Bacuause of this the authors decided to release unfinished mappack and wait for players' opinions.

It's A Game
Athletic sports have been around for centuries and are very welcomed amongst the general populace. I think it's ridiculous athletes are paid millions in endorsements and contracts when people that truly make a difference aren't paid nearly as much (police, doctors, scientists, lawyers), but such is the way things work.

The reason pro gaming is such a stupid idea to me is because it hasn't become as welcomed, conditioned and recognized as true sports have been. Maybe if I was born 30 years from now and it's demand and popularity was on par with football, baseball, basketball etc. and had been for some time, I wouldn't think of it as ridiculous.

It's cool you can win money, but making a living? I think that's foolish, it's not real work.
So Phait.
Whether something is worthwhile depends on whether it is "welcomed, conditioned, and recognized"??

Tell me, are you a politician? Or perhaps the boss of a major record label or TV station?

Welcome to Phait's world of bland homogenisation, where popularity and acceptance are what counts!

I meant that the idea of professional gaming is so odd/ridiculous to me because for one it's still a rather new "culture" or "profession" that it's hard to accept this as a new means of making a living, when everyone else works their asses off even in entertainment and physical sports.

Hmm, are you defending your opinion, or apologizing for it?

Phait u have no idea
pro gamers 'work their asses off' they have no life

Clarifying.
What The Crap?
I totally missed reading this thread.

Phait, you are a complete shit for yanking this thread off the topic of the maps, which I doubt you played, and starting some stupid debated you didn't even defend. If you want to discuss something, take it to GA or make a new thread. Leave news threads about the news at hand.

I thought this might happen, so yes - sorry for derailing your thread. Besides which, I did defend my opinion, else I wouldn't of elaborated upon my initial reply stating said opinion. Seriously Scampie, suck a fat one, you deserve it anyways.
Phait
Regardless of what you say, you successfully challenged none of my points. So... yeah, progaming is profitable and good! :)
Hmm
1) Pro gaming isn't a joke. Just pro gamers.

2) Novelty isn't an inherent reason for something to be 'a joke' (in the same way, hundreds of years of existence don't automatically make something worthwhile (see slavery).

3) Why on earth have a secret level in a deathmatch game?

wtf does slavery have to do with pro gaming?
Ownage?
