really, I didnt even know what it was till a couple of weeks ago when my brother showed me.

/me starts research scholarships in some of the more enlightened European states. the environmentalist movement does appear to be at a stand still at this time.
Maybe, they can get Dupont to fund them stop Freon production. Oh yes, that has already been done. Or the Saudi Royal family to fund their lobbying against drilling for oil in your country as they have done in mine. Hang in their, I'm sure some one will come around the corner and find a means to profit from fear. it is probably slightly unfair of me to list the actions of the environmentalist lobby as particurly vile because as a species, lobbyist of any stripe would sell the rest of us out to space aliens if the aliens named the right price ($2.50!).

Even though the DOOM 3 SDK is still missing in action, the DOOM3[CC] guys are gearing up to release the first version of their mod which will offer full text transcription of every piece of audio in the game for deaf / hearing impared gamers. Which is a nice change after the 57th "omg cs with like 50 weapons and stuff" mod. Hmm, how does it work exactly? Becuase it just occured to me that i don't see it in my inbox yet and i might have reflexively deleted it if it looked kind of like spam.

Nitin was a mod at Qmap oh so long ago, and was always the one posting all the newest maps released, many of which from non-Quake games. I'm glad to have him here to help add to our diversity. This is a good news... It's better to have 2 moderators than "one and a half": the "half" is Scampie who will be for sure very busy when he will start his new job, and will not be able to spend time with us as he do now... So, congratulations nitin...

And Shambler, stop being so modest, your contributions are much more worthwhile. Wasn't the Japanese Mario 2 just "Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels," which was included in the SNES All-Stars pack? Or was it something else? I still have my All-Stars cart at home, but I don't have the NES rom for Mario Bros 2 Japanese version. The western release of Mario Bros 2 was wank, though some people like it.
Speaking of Mario, I have Mario Sunshine for the GameCube, and have got something like 60 shines. Unfortunately, I have discovered that to finish the game I must complete seven levels from each area. This pisses me off, because almost every single one of the levels I am stuck on is a "secret of BLAH" level. These levels are fucking shit. Maybe thanks to the controls being a little twitchy at times, the camera, or my cack-handedness. Anyone else have the same prob with this game? Super Mario World may not have had fancy 3d graphics and shit, but at least I managed to finish 93 or so of the 96 or so levels (and defeat Bowser in the process.) It was one of the Star Road ones I couldn't do for some reason. It was a forest trail with lots of caterpillars and fire things in it. Dunno how I managed to do the one before it though... that was ROCK :)
