Re: Floyd...
hmm, we'll see what happens :)
Test
testing...
Sirs
Thank you Mr metlslime, though obviously changing the logo is your top priority.
Heh
I opened the link just so... Floyd walks steadfast to the beat of Audioslave's 'I am the highway'

I'm guessing Floyd is a joke so hideously internal as to end all internal jokes? So, approved.
Yeah
cool logo but who/what the fuck is floyd?
It's A Long Shot...
...I was listening to Boston Folk Radio on Monday around midday when I heard the song line 'I can see demons and fiends'.

It was being sung by a man in a very slow, drawly voice. There was just guitar accompanying. The were a couple of other suitably Quakish lines and I'm trying to find the singer.

I have checked on the WUMB web site but cannot find the actual play-lists.

Knowing what an eclectic mix we have on this forum, does the line ring a bell with anyone?
Woodham
Robyn Hitchcock -- from the latest album 'spooked' (2004)
Wrath
Top man. Thanks.
Mike
I went to a WUMB concert a few months ago of Steve Tilston...pretty good show. Although to be honest I got dragged there kind of against my will -- not that I don't like folk music, I just wasn't a big fan of the person that invited me :)
Blitz
That's novel, so I hope the person who took you doesn't read these forums :-)

I haven't been to Boston for a couple of years but the folk scene always used to be good - how's the Big Dig these days?
Why The Hell
are you linking to bloody discharge?
Someone

Pope...
...because I thought Bambuz was headed over to the GA thread to get some recommendations on kick arse 4v4 maps.
Id On Quake4:
Then of course there's Quake 4. When we have more information on that very soon, but it's going to be a very different experience to Doom 3 - there's tanks and Walkers and all kinds of guys running around in this huge war.

I have faith. That sounds spot on for remaking Quake 2.

WTF
I can't see anything... errrr what are we supposed to see ??
FC
Great videos, know what you mean.

Mind you, the guy drawing with sand impressed me.
DM-Ultimum][
I've been digging through NaliCity in search for some custom maps for the original UT and found this little gem:

http://nalicity.beyondunreal.com/mapimages/dm-ultimum][/ultimum][-uppermain.jpg

Yes, that is in fact the original UT and not UT2003/UT2004. The gameplay is very good too. Map review and download can be found at: http://nalicity.beyondunreal.com/map_hub.php?mid=5934
Tribute To Floyd
Was impressed of Lunaran's logo.
Make Metslime use Floyd's logo as title for func_msg board

Signed your petition Lunaran. If you want to see it act, it only runs in old Quake.

Holy Shit!
look at all those polys! how old *is* that model?! :P
Wow....
it's a quake model, inspired by an animated gif, inspired by ANOTHER animated gif, which i made from a quake model, which was inspired by Super Metroid.
Test
another test....
Age
I just made it. But because of the huge polys, (1042 vertices - 1872 triangles) it wasn't playable in fitzquake nor Telejanos.
Surprised Quake could handel it.
But for being a *good* Quake model the polycount has to lower dramaticly.
You Made That One?
ah, that would explain it.
Madfox
Worshippers of the false Floyd will be burned. Only the one true Floyd can lead us to salvation.

holy fuck there's a post preview now!
